“I wanna wake up to a different day
when all these ceilings and these walls just fade away.”

“Fade Away” was the first single of Dyan Valdés’s solo album “Stand”. For the video that accompanied the release, Dyan commissioned director Jessica Sweetman. She created a dreamy fantasy of 3 women who are tangled up and held back and manage to break free and come out into the light of day. I worked with Sweetman’s storyboard to score free movement and used a fragment of set choreography as a more abstract rendition of the themes.
