p.u.r.e.

Ingolf Sessler 2019

The city as a performative process in which we all take part.
The urban space as a relational field constantly produced by acts of perception and performance.

p.u.r.e. – performative urban research ensemble – is an ongoing interdisciplinary artistic project emerging in 2016 out of the studio performances Görli Dreamin‘ and Görli Dreamin‘ Vol. 2.

p.ur.e’s fundamental research resource is the practice of city walks, an extended multisensorial version of a sound walk, which becomes also an approach to urban performance.
