“Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder”
In a first encounter, curiosity stimulates our senses. Routine numbs them: we stop perceiving and merely recognise what we already know. The things we see every day seem to lose their glow but, really, it’s our gaze that has become opaque.
An exploration of mundane elements through play, a discovery of the extraordinary side of usual things, a new encounter with what I think I know by means of real-time composition, opening up to the possibilities of here and now.
