We are amphibians.

That means we live both in and out of water.

Sometimes we bask in the sunshine, feel our weight supported by the solid ground underneath and see clear contours and shapes.

Sometimes we swim underwater – sliding, twisting and turning with no up and no down and hear sounds that are difficult to describe.

We each live in our own sea, which is part of the big ocean that feeds all the seas in the world.

When we want to meet, we emerge from the water and walk on the land between our sea and the neighbours’.

Some of us wonder if it wouldn’t be possible to swim deep enough to find the submarine galleries connecting to neighbouring seas, to meet by diving deep into one’s own sea.

So we try.
